Disney Junior's animated series 'Mira, Royal Detective' will premiere in the U.S. on FRIDAY, MARCH 20 (11:00 a.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel and 7:00 p.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Junior). Disney Channel India will also be premiering a sneak-peek that same day, followed by the series premiere on Sunday, March 22. Set in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur, the series introduces a brave and resourceful girl named Mira, a commoner who is appointed to the role of royal detective by the queen. Following its premiere in the U.S. and India, the series will roll out worldwide in an estimated 160 countries on Disney Channel and Disney Junior platforms globally.

The news was announced last night by Joe D'Ambrosia, senior vice president, Original Programming and general manager, Disney Junior, during a special advance screening of the series in Burbank, California. Set in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur, the series follows the brave and resourceful Mira, a commoner who is appointed to the role of royal detective by the queen and travels throughout her kingdom to help royals and commoners alike.

Production has begun on 'Mira, Royal Detective,' an animated mystery-adventure series for preschoolers slated to debut on Disney Junior channels and programming blocks around the world in 2020. Set in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur, the series follows the brave and resourceful Mira, a commoner who is appointed to the role of royal detective after solving a mystery that involves saving the kingdom's young prince. The role of Mira will be voiced by 15-year-old newcomer Leela Ladnier. The announcement was made today by Joe D'Ambrosia, senior vice president, Original Programming, Disney Junior.
Disney Channel Orders Fourth Season of BUNK'D

The wildly successful sitcom 'BUNK'D' has been ordered for a fourth season by Disney Channel. Production will begin in March 2019 on the series starring fan-favorite Miranda May as Lou Hockhauser, the cheerful Woodchuck counselor turned owner of Maine's rustic Camp Kikiwaka summer camp. The series also stars Mallory James Mahoney (Disney Channel's 'Adventures in Babysitting'), Raphael Alejandro (ABC's 'Once Upon a Time') and Will Buie Jr. ('Gifted) as the campers who return with Lou to create a summer of fun and friendship for a new group of young campers. Additional casting is to be announced.

Production on each will resume in the fall.
