The service organization Dance/NYC has announced that videos from its fully digital 2022 Symposium are now available for public dissemination. This year's event, which occurred on Thursday March 17-Saturday March 19, 2022, marked Dance/NYC's second successful all-digital Symposium. Over three days, 500+ people attended the event built around the theme Life Cycles. Livelihoods. Legacies., including dance artists, choreographers, artistic directors, administrators, funders, educators, policymakers, dance writers, scholars, and students.

Sundance Institute Announces Future of Culture Initiative
Sundance Institute today announced the Future of Culture Initiative, an action plan that includes partnerships with Johns Hopkins University and Stanford University in order to implement key recommendations from a two-year global field scan that analyzed strategies for improving equity and inclusion in emerging media. The initiative puts artists in discourse with technologists, scientists, policymakers, advocates and business leaders to imagine and design for the future of culture.

Over 450 alumni, donors and supporters gathered at St. Ann's Warehouse on Monday night for the NYU Tisch School of the Arts 2019 Gala, honoring notable alumni Susan Kelechi Watson and Sharon Chang. The event featured several performances by current Tisch students in tribute to the two honorees. Alec and Hilaria Baldwin and Martin Scorsese served as honorary co-chairs for the evening. In attendance were NYU Tisch Dean Allyson Green, NYU Provost Katherine Fleming, Grammy Award-winning music executive Clive Davis and Tony Award-winning actress Phylicia Rashad. Nearly $1 million was raised to support critical needs of talented Tisch students.
Sundance Institute Theatre Program: Fellows Convene For Lab At MASS MoCA, Currently Underway
Four new works for the stage, with a global cohort of theatremakers, have gathered for development at the two-week Sundance Institute Theatre Lab at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA), convening December 2-16, 2018, including a public performance on December 7. The Labs process, rigorous and generative, is founded on concentrated and abundant time and resources; projects are cast individually and rehearsed daily.

QUESTION BRIDGE: BLACK MALES Video Installation on view at Brooklyn Museum, 1/13-6/3
QUESTION BRIDGE: BLACK MALES will feature dialogue among 150 Black men recruited from eleven American cities and towns. On view at the Brooklyn Museum from January 13 through June 3, 2012, it will also be presented at the Oakland Museum of California from January 21 through April 21, 2012. The exhibition will include five video screens, placed in an arc, playing videos of the men responding to questions. The videos were edited so that it appears as if the men are having a conversation.
Question Bridge Selected to Take Part in First Sundance New Frontier Story Lab, 10/23-28
The New Frontier Story Lab has selected Question Bridge as part of the five project teams to attend. The lab will focus on supporting projects that have original stories and engage audiences in innovative ways, across multiple platforms. Organized as an immersive lab experience, activities will include individualized story sessions, conversations about key artistic, design and technology issues, and case study presentations. Drawing talent and expertise from all of Sundance Institute's creative programs, including Feature Film, Documentary Film, and the Sundance Film Festival, the Lab has been planned under the supervision of Michelle Satter, Director of the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program.
