Toronto International Film Festival Announces 2019 International Rising Stars

TIFF Co-Heads Cameron Bailey and Joana Vicente announced today the new lineup of international TIFF Rising Stars: Chino Darín, Geraldine Viswanathan, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and Josefine Frida. Now in its ninth year, the programme showcases burgeoning young actors who will join the previously announced Canadian TIFF Rising Stars, Kacey Rohl, Mikhaïl Ahooja, Nahéma Ricci, and Shamier Anderson.
Toronto International Film Festival Unveils Canadian Features Slate

The Toronto International Film Festival ® unveiled today the 26 Canadian features within various programmes that are part of the Festival's 2019 lineup. The slate offers a wide range of perspectives and themes, from youth struggling with the pressures of adulthood to seniors fighting for their independence in virtually every region in the country. The Canadian selection includes seven first features, 13 works by returning TIFF alumni, and almost 50% films directed by women.

Things go from bad to worse when a copycat killer murders a friend of Abigail. Hannibal suggests they hide the body to protect Abigail - but secrets come at a cost.
