Tyler Perry Documentary Coming to Prime Video in November
Maxine’s Baby: The Tyler Perry Story, will be available to stream on Prime Video beginning in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Gelila Bekele and Armani Ortiz directed the documentary under the Bekele Films banner, and Maxine’s Baby: The Tyler Perry Story becomes the latest addition to the Prime membership.

SFGMC Presents Annual Benefit CRESCENDO VOICES RISING
Today, San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus (SFGMC) Artistic Director Dr. Timothy Seelig and Executive Director Chris Verdugo announced CrescendoVoices Rising, SFGMC's annual benefit honoring extraordinary individuals who tirelessly champion and promote LGBTQ+ equality. Presented by The Ariadne Getty Foundation, the virtual event will take place on Thursday, April 22 at 6 p.m. PDT. Funds raised at this year's gala will help sustain SFGMC and support its youth outreach programs.
Yerba Buena Center for the Arts to Present Requiem Mass: A Queer Divine Rite
In collaboration with Ghiberti Foundation at Grace Cathedral, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) is pleased to present Requiem Mass: A Queer Divine Rite, a monumental choral work organized by renowned singer-composer Holcombe Waller. Making its San Francisco debut, Requiem Mass honors and invokes the peaceful repose of those who have suffered persecution due to their sexual orientation or gender expression. Requiem Mass: A Queer Divine Rite will have a two-night engagement in the historic Grace Cathedral Episcopal Church on Friday and Saturday, November 16-17, 2018, at 7:30PM.

BWW Review: Comedy Talks in MISALLIANCE
George Bernard Shaw must have been a talker. A man of many talents, Shaw's plays are known for driving home his opinions on the world around him and doing so at length -- hence why he's said to have perfected the concept of 'discussion' plays. Strollers Theatre took the challenging playwright to task with their latest production of Misalliance - a 2 ½ hour comedy of manners with so much talking it's no wonder the characters didn't end up blue in the face.
