BIO

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, and current Florida resident (but willing to travel!), Jynelly has spent most of her life working in the theatre scene.

Jynelly’s career started in Caguas, Puerto Rico at just seven years old. She quickly discovered that she wanted to spend the rest of her life doing theatre, and became interested in learning as much as she could about as many areas as possible. Her big break came in 2011 when she started working with The Black Box Theatre Workshop in the production of RENT. Ever since then, Jynelly has been the Stage Manager for musicals like Shrek, In The Heights, Disney’s The Beauty and The Beast, among others with companies like, Broadway Illusions, Inc., Teatro Caribeño, Casa Productora, Inc., and many others while also receiving training in piano, guitar, voice, and acting.

In 2015, Jynelly graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico with a BFA in Audiovisual Communications and, shortly after, moved to Florida to work with Florida Studio Theatre, Martha's Vineyard Playhouse in Massachusets, 59E59 Theaters New York City, and New London Barn Playhouse in New Hampshire.

On her free time, Jynelly likes to direct, play the guitar, cook, paint, play video games and read.
