DCPA's Free Shakespeare In The Parking Lot Community Performances Return April 9
The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) has announced the return of the Education program, Shakespeare in the Parking Lot, kicking off its seventh season this spring. Shakespeare in the Parking Lot will go on tour throughout the Denver metro area to perform two free abridged versions of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
DCPA's Off-Center Extends SWEET & LUCKY
Off-Center, a signature line of programming for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, announced today that they have extended Sweet & Lucky due to audience demand. The DCPA's first foray into large-scale immersive theatre sold out all 48 originally scheduled performances. Tickets for the six week extension, which will run June 30-August 7, are now available at SweetAndLuckyDenver.com.
METAMORPHOSES Opens Tomorrow at The Aurora Fox

Colorado Community Theatre Coalition to Host 25th Annual Theatre Festival, 8/7-10
The Colorado Community Theatre Coalition, a statewide organization to promote and enrich community theatre in Colorado, will be hosting its 25th Annual Theatre Festival August 7 - 10 at the Denver Center Theatre Academy in the Robert and Judi Newman Center for Theatre Education, 1101 13th Street, Denver, CO 80204, right across the street from the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The festival offers performances of nine shows from community theatres across the state, twelve creative and informative workshops, an opportunity to participate in an acting competition, and a chance to network with fellow theatre lovers and experts from around Colorado.
