Boise Contemporary Theater, celebrating the best-selling season in its 22-year history, opens its doors once again beginning December 6 to grownups and children alike for the second show of the 17 18 Season, Eric Coble's The Storm in the Barn. Alley Rep Announces 2016/2017 Series: KILL THE DARLINGS
Call it celebrity culture or just old-fashioned idolatry, but when we lavish more attention on characters and avatars than flesh-and-blood human beings, something essential is lost. In KILL THE DARLINGS, Alley Repertory Theater's 2016/2017 series, three comedic plays will confront the idols of politics, mythology, and pop in hopes of rediscovering our shared humanity.

BWW Reviews: AS YOU LIKE IT - You Will Love It
I have seen a few different versions of AS YOU LIKE IT over the years. I think when watching Shakespeare it's gets easier and more enjoyable each time you see it, since you understand what is happening. However, I think this production does such a good job of telling the story through the actions they chose to go along with the dialogue, that someone who knew nothing about the story could tell you what it was about.
Boise Contemporary Theater Presents World Premiere of THE UNCANNY VALLEY, Now thru 4/26
The 13|14 Season at BCT closes with the World Premiere of The Uncanny Valley written and directed by Dwayne Blackaller and Matthew Cameron Clark. Their last collaboration, A Nighttime Survival Guide, reached the biggest audience in BCT history with a story that spanned sixteen time zones. But that was a play for the whole family. This one is just for the grown-ups. With The Uncanny Valley we will take you into the future to explore what it means to be human. Set in a place called the Longhouse, built as a rustic artists' retreat with a view of the Sawtooth Mountains, The Uncanny Valley will feature Carie Kawa, Matthew Cameron Clark, Justin Ness, Tracy Sunderland and Stitch Marker as Stanley, the caretaker who may be less, and perhaps more, than human. The Uncanny Valley will run Apr. 2 - 26, 2013, with an official opening on April 5.
