Drayton Entertainment announces casting for Rocky: The Musical. This adrenaline-fueled musical based on Sylvester Stallone's Academy© Award-winning film will launch the 2019 Season at the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge. The production will run for four weeks from March 6 to March 31.

A Musical Theatre Dance Party,' a celebration of the amazing Toronto musical theatre community and an excuse to cut loose and shake your 'Shipoopi'! The event, jointly hosted by Acting Up Stage Company, Angelwalk Theatre and Theatre 20, will take place at the Drake Underground, the Drake Hotel's swanky underground lair (1150 Queen Street West).

At a press conference held June 7 at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts, the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) announced 171 nominations for 197 eligible productions that opened between June 1, 2010 and May 31, 2011 for the 32nd annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards which honour excellence in the performing arts in Toronto.
