MTC's LACKAWANNA BLUES Announces Final Extension Through November 12
Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway premiere of Ruben Santiago-Hudson's Lackawanna Blues will add additional performances on Tuesday, November 9 at 7PM, Wednesday, November 10 at 2PM, Thursday, November 11 at 7PM and Friday, November 12 at 8PM at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).
LACKAWANNA BLUES Announces One-Week Extension
Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced that Manhattan Theatre Club’s Broadway premiere of Ruben Santiago-Hudson’s Lackawanna Blues will extend for one additional week of performances, now playing through Sunday, November 7 at MTC’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

As BroadwayWorld reported last night, last night's performance of Lackawanna Blues was canceled due to a recurrence of an ongoing back injury for star, writer, and director, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, but it is now officially open at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre!

BLACK-EYED BLUES FEST Celebrates 20-Years Of Free Blues In Bushnell Park
Black-Eyed Blues Fest will return to Bushnell Park in Downtown Hartford for its 20th year on Saturday, June 22nd from 3pm to 11pm. Produced by Black-Eyed Sally's Southern Kitchen & Bar in partnership with the Connecticut Blues Society, this free event will feature seven bands including Jaimoe's Jasssz Band, Christine Ohlman a.k.a. The Beehive Queen & Rebel Montez, and the five finalists of the CT Blues Challenge.
