SAW The Musical, The Unauthorized Parody of Saw has extended its run Off-Broadway at AMT Theatre (345 West 45th Street) through June 23, 2024. It will also kick off a national tour in LA with a six-week run beginning February 29 at the Hudson Theatres Mainstage.

League Of Professional Theatre Women Welcomes New Officers And Board Members
The League of Professional Theatre Women (Shellen Lubin and Catherine Porter, Co-Presidents), an organization which has been championing women in the professional theatre for over three decades, will launch their 37th season of programming, events, and advocacy, with a special event on Wednesday, September 25 at Theaterlab (357 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10018). Pre-reception networking will begin at 6:30pm. The event will officially kick-off at 7pm, followed by post-reception networking from 9pm-9:30pm.

Okay, so this is NOT your usual fairy-tale of a Princess kissing a frog. Instead the frog kisses Princesses and turns them into frogs! This twist on the classic puts a fun-filled spin on the story. Along the way we encounter Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, a Dragon and of course, the Evil Witch. Your audience will be enthralled and 'bewitched.'

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 32 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2017 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 18 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.
