Julie Kramer is a critically-acclaimed director, known for developing new plays and musicals. Her adaptation of Rona Jaffe's THE BEST OF EVERYTHING was named a "Critics Pick" by The New York Times and Time Out New York and was one of the 10 Best Plays of 2012 in The Huffington Post. It's published by Dramatists Play Service. THE CLICK, her new comedy with music about the Women's Movement, was a Special Project in development for New Georges's 2014-15 season. Last season she directed OUTSIDE MULLINGAR at The Pioneer Theatre in Salt Lake City. Other directing includes Amy Wilson's MOTHER LOAD (Off-Broadway and national tour), PEARL'S GONE BLUE (Best Musical FringeNYC), HILLARY: A MODERN GREEK TRAGEDY WITH A (SOMEWHAT) HAPPY ENDING (New Georges) NONE OF THE ABOVE (The Lion) and ANDREW SECUNDA'S ONE WOMAN SHOW (Upright Citizens Brigade Theater). She was the recipient of a New Georges Special Project Grant for a workshop of HILLARY at The Public Theater.
