BWW Reviews: MOBY DICK Surges at Syracuse Stage
Syracuse Stage welcomes Julian Rad's adaptation of the novel as their 40th season opener. Rad's MOBY DICK opened off-off Broadway in 2003 and was nominated for Drama Desk Awards. This play with songs was heralded for its bare set and authentic sea chanteys.

As a member of the elite US Air Force troupe Tops In Blue, Kahlil served his country in Iraq by entertaining the troops on the front-line. Often hysterical and many times dangerous, Ashanti knows true fear... but nothing was quite as scary as turning his focus back home to face the childhood he tried to forget.

'Basic Training' is a hilarious story based on one soldier's outrageous experience in the U.S. Air Force. Performances began at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow St. at 7th Avenue, 1 block south of Christopher Street) on Friday, Sept. 26th with an official opening on Monday, October 13th.
