Civic Ensemble Artistic Director and co-founder Godfrey L. Simmons, Jr. has announced that he will be stepping down from his position at Civic Ensemble, an ensemble-based, community driven theater company founded in 2012. After seven years with Civic Ensemble, Simmons will depart in December to become Artistic Director of HartBeat Ensemble in Hartford, CT. SIGGRAPH 2018 Art Gallery 'Origins' To Reflect Diversity, Culture
SIGGRAPH 2018, the world's leading showcase of digital art created using computer graphics and interactive techniques, will present a special Art Gallery, entitled "Origins," and historic Art Papers in Vancouver, B.C. The 45th SIGGRAPH conference will take place 12-16 August at the Vancouver Convention Centre. NBC Nixes Remaining Episodes of SAVING HOPE
NBC has dropped its plans to air the two remaining episodes of SAVING HOPE network sources have confirmed. Said installments - 'Ride Hard or Go Home' and 'Pink Clouds' - were originally slated for this Saturday, September 8 and September 15 at 8:00/7:00c. Encores of 'America's Got Talent' and 'The Voice' will instead air on those dates, respectively.
NBC Announces Series Premieres for Summer 2012
NBC unveiled premiere dates for three new and returning series for Summer 2012 that include the return of "Love in the Wild" (Thursday, June 7, 8-10 p.m. ET), the series debut of "Saving Hope" (working title; Thursday, June 7, 10-11 p.m. ET) and the return of G4's "American Ninja Warrior" (Monday, May 21, 9-11 p.m. ET).

The film was shot in Hawaii with stars Helen Mirren (Prospera), Alfred Molina (Stephano), Ben Whishaw (Ariel), Felicity Jones (Miranda), Russell Brand (Trinculo), Djimon Hounsou (Caliban), Alan Cumming (Sebastian), Chris Cooper (Antonio), and David Strathairn (Alonso).
The New York Times reports today that the film will in fact be the main attraction at this year's New York Film Festival, presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center in October. The film will get a special screening on October 2, 2010 at Alice Tully Hall.
