INTAR Extends World Premiere of THE MAIDS
INTAR (Lou Moreno, Artistic Director/John McCormack, Executive Director) is proud to announce that the acclaimed world premiere of THE MAIDS by Jose Rivera, adapted from the play by Jean Genet, will extend until October 30th. Daniel Irizarry directs a cast that features Laura Butler Rivera, Daniel Irizarry, Charlie Munn, Casey Robinson, and Folami Williams. THE MAIDS by Jose Rivera is presented in association with One-Eighth Theater (founded by its Artistic Directors Daniel Irizarry and Laura Butler Rivera), which is continuing its residency at INTAR Theatre. THE MAIDS was developed, in part, with assistance from the Orchard Project, a program of The Exchange (Ari Edelson, Artistic Director Dean Strober, Executive Director, www.exchangenyc.org).

TURQUOISE Opens Tomorrow Night, 6/13-21
TURQUOISE is a disruption-of-memory play. Exploring the interconnectedness of everything through disruption, this intergenerational comedy examines seven lives across a spectrum: a couple married 71 years; a middle-aged concert pianist with a brain injury and his loving day nurse; and two 15-year-old boys trying to figure their way through a timeless set of adolescent passions.
Deb Margolin's TURQUOISE Set for Dixon Place, 6/13-21
Dixon Place presents TURQUOISE by award-winning playwright Deb Margolin. Ms. Margolin's first multi-character play in three years, TURQUOISE is an intergenerational comedy presented by an ensemble who are age 20 - 80. Directed by Charlie Polinger (Marina Keegan's Independents, Matthew George's Cow Play) and featuring music by composer Amy Reich, TURQUOISE will play a strictly-limited engagement at Dixon Place (161a Chrystie Street) - four performances only on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14; and Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21 (all performances at 7:30pm). Women's Project Increases Main Stage Production Next Season, Announces Two World Premieres
Women's Project, the 32-year-old non-profit theater dedicated to producing plays written and directed by women, will increase main stage production next season by 50%. The theater's board of directors authorized Julie Crosby, producing artistic director, to increase main stage productions from two to three at the company's Julia Miles Theater on West 55th Street.

Untitled Theater Co. #61 will present a Festival of Jewish Theater & Ideas May 20th through June 14th. The Festival, which will include production by theater companies from around the US & Canada, will frame the Association for Jewish Theatre - International Conference (June 6-10), which will be hosted by Untitled Theater Co. #61, Artistic Director Edward Einhorn. This international conference of Jewish theater professionals is held annually in a different city.
