Arthur Schnitzler's ROUND DANCE is Coming to IRT Theater
Arthur Schnitzler’s classic tale of love and infidelity, ROUND DANCE, is coming to New York in a new translation from the German by H. Clark Kee, who also directs. ROUND DANCE begins performances on Thursday, March 10 for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 27.
THE FOOL'S LEAR Comes To IRT Theater In January
IRT Theater is thrilled to present the Oldest Boys Productions in association with Accidental Repertory Theater (John Strasberg, Artistic Director) production of THE FOOL'S LEAR, with text from William Shakespeare's King Lear, adapted and directed by H. Clark Kee. THE FOOL'S LEAR begins performances on Wednesday, January 9 for a limited engagement through Saturday, January 26. Press Opening is Friday, January 11 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Wednesday - Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sunday at 3 PM; with added matinee performances on Saturday 1/19 and 1/26 at 2 PM. Performances are at the IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, between Washington and Greenwich Streets, near the 1 and 2 trains at Christopher Street Station, and the A, B, C, D, and E at West 4th). Called 'One of the bravest men in show business' by Jeff Goodman of Time Warner Cable's 'Two On The Aisle' and 'an incredibly engaging and versatile performer' by Duncan Pflaster of Broadway World, Brader returns to The London Fringe, June 17-27, 2010. As part of their Fringe run, JMTC will present a Benefit Show for Women's Community House on Friday, June 25 at 8.15pm. All proceeds from that show will go to WCH.

John Strasberg, founder and Artistic Director of the Accidental Repertory Theater, has announced that the company will present as its first public production, the international classic 'BRECHT ON BRECHT,' adapted and translated by George Tabori, and directed by Mr. Strasberg. Ross Patterson will serve as Musical Director for the production. Performances of 'BRECHT ON BRECHT' will begin on Thursday, October 29, and the official opening night will be Sunday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. Accidental Repertory Theater is located at 555 Eighth Avenue, Suite 403 (between 37th and 38th Streets). The run will continue for four weeks through Saturday, November 21.
