Bay City Players to Present ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE
ALWAYS…PATSY CLINE is a musical treatment of the true story of Patsy Cline's friendship with Houston housewife Louise Seger. As Louise's delightful storytelling paints the picture of their friendship, Patsy sings 28 of the tunes that made her famous, including-Anytime, Walkin' After Midnight, She's Got You, Sweet Dreams, and Crazy--to name a few. The show combines humor, sadness and reality. It offers fans who remember Cline while she was alive a chance to look back, while giving new fans an idea of what hearing her was like and what she meant to her original fans. Patsy Cline was the break-through singer for women in country music and an amazing cross-over artist who set a lifetime standard in a very short career.
