New Jersey Lyric Opera returns to Kelsey Theatre at Mercer County Community College for a weekend of opera favorites from July 26-28. Enjoy performances of RIGOLETTO and more, featuring talented artists.
New Jersey Lyric Opera returns to Kelsey Theatre at Mercer County Community College for a weekend of opera favorites from July 26-28. Enjoy performances of RIGOLETTO and more, featuring talented artists.
Academy Of Vocal Arts Reveals 2023/24 Season Lineup
The season, which is AVA's 89th, kicks off with a stunning production of Gaetano Donizetti's masterwork Anna Bolena, followed by Benjamin Britten's hauntingly beautiful The Rape of Lucretia and ending with Gioachino Rossini's beloved comic masterpiece, Il barbiere di Siviglia ('The Barber of Seville'). Also returning this season is the annual Giargiari Bel Canto Competition, New Artists Recital, Winter Recital, and Farewell Recital.

At a press conference held at Meridian Hall, the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) announced 228 nominations for the 43rd Annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards, which recognize excellence in professional theatre, dance and opera in Toronto for the 2022-2023 season. Also announced at the press conference was the recipient of the Province of Ontario’s Pauline McGibbon Award.

Her career has focused on opera and the classical performing arts having run a boutique business, Bowman Media, for over a decade with clients that have included the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, conductor James Gaffigan, soprano Joyce El-Khoury, mezzo soprano Wallis Giunta, and more.
