SENSORIUM EX Will Make its World Premiere Next Year
Paola Prestini and Brenda Shaughnessy's expansive, multi-modal opera Sensorium Ex will have its world premiere May 22-25, 2025, presented by Omaha's Common Senses Festival in a co-production by VisionIntoArt and Beth Morrison Projects, directed by Jerron Herman and Jay Scheib.

New York City Opera to Present CARMEN as Part of Bryant Park Picnic Performances
Bryant Park Picnic Performances' season of free, live performances will continue on Friday, July 2 at 7pm with a fully-staged, one-hour abridged performance of Georges Bizet's beloved opera, Carmen, from the New York City Opera. This will be New York City Opera's first fully staged, hour-long adaptation performed this year.
On Site Opera Blurs The Lines Of The Audience-Theater Experience This Season
On Site Opera, an organization dedicated to presenting site-specific opera productions in non-traditional venues throughout New York City, announces its dynamic 2019-2020 season. As the company has grown in recent years, they have established a season that includes three core mainstage productions, The Turn of the Screw, October 25-27, Amahl and the Night Visitors, December 4-8, and Das Barbecu, January 26-February 11, along with additional partnerships and events beyond the boundaries of the New York City boroughs in summer of 2020.
Resonance Works Presents Bach's ST. JOHN PASSION
Resonance Works presents Bach's dramatic St. John Passion on Friday, March 22nd at 8 p.m. at Heinz Memorial Chapel in Oakland and Sunday, March 24th at 3 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Upper St. Clair. A distinguished cast of vocal soloists join the Resonance Chamber Orchestra and Chorus conducted by founder and Artistic Director Maria Sensi Sellner.
