Joshua Carr is a Lynchburg native and 2018 graduate of E. C. Glass High School And currently enrolled at CVCC. He has been an athlete all his life; always playing either basketball or football. He never thought of doing theatre until he entered High School. During his junior year, he took an intro to theatre class and ever since then, he has been hooked on entertaining people and making them laugh or cry. Although Joshua didn't do any shows his junior year because of basketball, he performed in every single show during the theatre season of his senior year. He tried to play basketball and do theatre but he could not work out a scheduling agreement with his coach. Ultimately, he chose theatre and quit the basketball team. In addition to E.C. Glass Theatre performances, Joshua has also performed with Wolfbane Productions and most recently he appeared in The Laramie Project at Renaissance Theatre and at the Academy of the arts "Hannah and Billy The Talk" As well as working with Unified Theatre Playing as His First Lead Role in "Last Friday Night" also with ROGUE PRODUCTIONS he played as Mercutio and Paris He hopes to make it to the big screen one day and be the next great Denzel Washington but for now he plans to keep doing stuff locally until he graduates college.
