In-The-Bowery's to Host Good Friday Blues Service This Month
Staying true to its long history and commitment to justice and mercy through worship and the arts, poetry, dance, and historic preservation, St. Mark's Church In-The-Bowery, the Rev Anne Marie Witchger, Priest in Charge will host its annual Good Friday Blues on Friday, March 29th noon to 3:00 p.m.

This week marks a very important event for DC area arts education. On June thirteenth, The Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts (TTL) held its very first class and co-founders Deb Gottesman, Buzz Mauro and Michael Rodgers never looked back.
The organization has changed locations a few times over the years but the quality of the work that Theatre Lab’s instructors and administration have given to hundreds and hundreds of students has always remained at the top of its game.
Theatre Lab's Summer Teen Programs Present CAROUSEL
The Theatre Lab, in partnership with Theater J, presents columbinus at Theater J on August 19 as it concludes its 2016 Summer Acting Institute for Teens. That same weekend, The Theatre Lab's Musical Theatre Institute for Teens will open its second production of the summer, the classic musical Carousel, with music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II.Carousel runs August 18-20 at The Theatre Lab.
Theatre Lab's Summer Teen Program Wraps Up with MUSEUM, CABARET This Weekend
The Theatre Lab, in partnership with Theater J, presents Tina Howe's MUSEUM at Theater J today, August 7, as the culmination of its 2015 Summer Acting Institute for Teens. That same weekend, The Theatre Lab's Musical Theatre Institute for Teens will open their production of the classic musical CABARET, with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. Cabaret runs now through August 8 at The Theatre Lab.

MetroStage is pleased to announce that Janet Langhart Cohen's Anne & Emmett, directed by Thomas W. Jones II, with original music by Joshua Coyne and for this production addition original music by William Knowles, will be in performance at MetroStage May 7, 8, and 9.

Zuccotti Park, a new musical about the human side of economics has been selected for the final rounds of Venus/Adonis 2015 Festival after running to a full house all four performances. The festival has extended the run and its final performance will take place at The Robert Moss Theatre at Wednesday March 4th at 8:30pm. Luis Salgado Directs, Choreographs New Musical ZUCCOTTI PARK, Opening Tonight at NYC Venus/Adonis Festival
Luis Salgado, who most recently was involved in the developmental lab for the new Gloria Estefan Musical On your Feet, has signed on as director/choreographer of the NYC World Premier of Zuccotti Park. Book and lyrics by Catherine Hurd and music composed by Vatrena King, with musical direction by Joshua Coyne. This new musical about the 'Human Side of Economics' will have 4 performances and close the 2015 Venus/Adonis Festival.
