September Bryant Park Picnic Performances to Feature American Symphony Orchestra, Jazz at Lincoln Center & More

Bryant Park Picnic Performances are still warming up with three newly announced free concerts spotlighting new and established voices in the fields of jazz, classical and global pop. On September 9, Jazz at Lincoln Center will bring a rising star in the jazz world to Bryant Park: the 20 year old trumpeter Summer Camargo, playing with her Sextet.

LOCOBEACH is the musical moniker of the NYC supergroup comprised of José Luis Pardo on guitars/vocals (Los Crema Paraiso, Los Amigos Invisibles), Neil Ochoa on congas/percussion/electronics (Chicha Libre, Los Crema Paraiso), Joshua Camp on accordion/keyboards/vocals (Chicha Libre, C.A.M.P.O.S., One Ring Zero), Edward Marshall (La Muy Bestia Pop) on bass, and Fernando Valladares on timbales & drums (Guaco). The dynamic group has forged a sound blending cumbia pop and Latin disco with a psychedelic edge. Their debut album is aptly titled Psychedelic Disco Cumbia dropped on October 25, 2019 (Dorsal fin Records/Peace & Rhythm).

Award-winning Brazilian illustrator Maria Eugênia completely captures the shy heart and soul of Rosler's song with her magical illustrations and animation. 'Where Do I Come In?' is performed by Spottiswoode and features a formidable group of musicians: Dave Eggar (cello), Terry Radigan (background vocals, guitar & piano), Joshua Camp (accordion, piano and Mellotron), Bj Karpen (oboe), Jim McNamara (bass), Chris Michaels (drums). The song is co-arranged and co-produced by Don Rosler & Terry Radigan.
