Just last night, MCC Theater celebrated the opening of the World Premiere of Which Way to the Stage by Ana Nogueira (Empathitrax) and directed by Mike Donahue (MCC's Collective Rage). Previously titled Here She Is, Boys, Which Way to the Stage will run through May 22 at the Newman Mills Theater at MCC Theater.

The New 42nd Street Gala will celebrate the vision and legacy of Cora Cahan, founding President & CEO, as she steps down after 29 years of extraordinary leadership. Proceeds from the Monday, June 3, 2019, event at The Plaza Hotel will benefit The New Victory Theater's innovative arts and engagement programs which reach more than 55,000 kids each year.
ASTEP Receives Grant From Seller-Lehrer Family Foundation
ARTISTS STRIVING TO END POVERTY (ASTEP) announced today that it has received a $50,000 commitment from the Seller-Lehrer Family Foundation (SLFF) towards their arts programming in partnership with the International Rescue Committee's Refugee Youth Summer Academy (RYSA). ASTEP is a non-profit organization founded by Broadway musical director Mary-Mitchell Campbell and students at Juilliard who sought to transform the lives of youth using the most powerful tool they had - their art. Today, ASTEP connects performing and visual artists with youth from underserved communities in the U.S. and around the world to awaken their imaginations, foster critical thinking, and help them break the cycle of intergenerational poverty.
Dramatists Guild Foundation Announces $2M Grant From Seller-Lehrer Family Foundation
The Dramatists Guild Foundation (DGF) announced today that it has received a $2 million commitment from the Seller-Lehrer Family Foundation, Inc. (SLFF). The DGF is an established non-profit organization that fuels the future of American theater by supporting the writers who create it. DGF fosters playwrights, composers, lyricists, and book writers at all stages of their careers. DGF creates educational programs; provides awards, grants, and stipends; offers free space to create new works; and gives emergency aid to writers in need.
