Hailing from the Boston area, Josh never intended to be performer, however, while studying Fine Arts at U. Mass Dartmouth, Josh landed his first big role as Jack in Into the Woods. He instantly fell in love with theater. Graced with a natural Irish Tenor voice and stage presence he knew from that point what he wanted to do with his life. After working professionally for a time, Josh decided to return to school and study his craft. He is extremely proud to have successfully completed the Integrated Musical Theater Program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City in June of 2013.
After graduating Josh took part in the reading of Searching for Romeo in the Developmental Reading Series, part of NYMF. Shortly afterward Josh played Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof, at The Human Race Theater Dayton, OH. The show opened to rave reviews, including great notices for Josh's performance, and extended its run and went on to win Best Musical of the Year 2014 for the Dayton metro area.
Josh finished his run starring as and originating the role Jane Mann, a down on her/his luck female impersonator, who is caught up in a mad cap adventure aboard the Queen Ethel May. Fabulous! opened in September 2014 at the Times Square Arts Center and upon the show's opening he received critical praise for his portrayal of Jane Mann. He played his last show Jnauary 5, 2015.
Josh can currently be seen in 'Godspell' at Westchester Broadway Theater in Elmsford, NY till August 9, 2015. He will later return to the Human Race Theater to play Ethan in 'Full Monty: The Broadway Musical' through Oct 4th, 2015.
