NY Classical Theatre, New York City's all-free Off-Broadway Equity theatre company, will present a free virtual zoom reading of William Shakespeare's King Lear on Thursday, June 25 at 8:00 pm, as a fundraiser for an intended full production later this year.

Isaiah Johnson (Broadway: Merchant of Venice with Al Pacino; Peter and the Starcatcher; Off-Bway: Far from Heaven with Kelli O'Hara) steps into the title role of OTHELLO, produced by the New York Shakespeare Exchange and directed by Cristina Lundy. OTHELLO began performances on today, October 15 for a limited engagement through Saturday, November 2. Performances are at Hudson Guild Theater (441 West 26th Street, between 9th & 10th Avenues; C to 23rd Street). The performance schedule istoday at 7 PM; Wednesday - Saturday at 8 PM.
