Critically-acclaimed performers Erika Amato (Flashdance - The Musical), Aaron Lee Battle (Bistro Award), and Meg Flather (MAC and Bistro Awards) have been added to the starry lineup for producer Joseph Macchia's first annual ONE HEART ONE CURE CONCERT, hosted by Broadway's Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet, In The Heights) at the Baruch Performing Arts Center on October 14th at 8pm.

On October 14th at 8 PM award-winning producer Joseph Macchia will present the first annual ONE HEART ONE CURE CONCERT. The evening is dedicated to the memory of his Mom Camille Fuoco. She lost her battle with Stage 4 Breast Cancer on July 31, 2019.

The show was directed by Alyssa Williams, choreographed by Jose-Luis Lopez Jr. (On Your Feet, In The Heights) with Gina DePool as associate choreographer, and music directed by Justin Ramos.

2018 MAC Award Nominees Announced
The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) is pleased to announce the 2018 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. The MAC Board of Directors selected the nominees for Show of the Year. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories. The names of the songwriters in the Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories are being withheld during the voting period, but will be announced publicly as soon as the voting period concludes.

He made his NYC cabaret debut with this show to rave reviews last year at 53 Above Broadway. He's performed selections from I'm Still Here at NYC venues including The Duplex and The West End.

Drama Desk Award winner and original cast member of In The Heights and On Your Feet Doreen Montalvo hosted the evening.

Last night, Monday August 21, the actress and singer Emily Ellet was mobbed by her many friends and admirers in the audience when it was announced that she had eeked out a photo-finish win in one of the most competitive MetroStar contests in years. Her outstanding mini-set, in which she delivered a dazzingly original interpretation of the '80s disco anthem 'It's Raining Men,' put her ahead of the other four MetroStar finalists, each of whom delivered nearly flawless performances.
