South Bay Musical Theatre (SBMT) has announced the titles for the Company's upcoming 2020-2021 season. The 2020-2021 season will include JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT (September 26 - October 17, 2020), A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC (January 30 - February 20, 2021) and THE KING AND I (May 15 - June 5, 2021).

The TSO Welcomes Six New Musicians
The launch of a new season at the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) is always cause for celebration. Adding to the joy of returning to Roy Thomson Hall for the inaugural concert of the 2018/19 season on September 20, Interim Artistic Director Sir Andrew Davis and the Orchestra extend a warm welcome to Eric Abramovitz (Associate Principal Clarinet), Darren Hicks (Associate Principal Bassoon), Dasol Jeong (violin), Joseph Kelly (Assistant Timpani/Section Percussion), Hugo Lee (oboe), and Ashley Vandiver (viola), who are joining the TSO family.
New World Symphony and USC Partnership Culminates in Cross-Disciplinary Performance
On October 1 at the New World Center, Percussion Fellows from the New World Symphony, America's Orchestral Academy (NWS), and students at the University of Southern California's Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation will present the culminating event in a yearlong collaboration that explores classical music in the context of contemporary culture, blending NWS's experimentation and musical expertise with insights from USC Academy students in the areas of design, technology, and cultural trends. The event, titled Alien Jungle, is divided into three parts: pre-concert audience interaction with percussion instruments; performance of chamber works by Steve Reich (Music for Mallet Instruments, Voices, and Organ), George Crumb (Dream Sequence Images II), and Istv n M rta (Doll's House Story); and a post-concert reception. Alien Jungle begins at 2:45 p.m.
