JOSEPH “JOE P.” PALMORE Joe P has established himself as a leading Poet, Actor, Playwright, and Educator for over twelve years. He has starred in many stand out roles including a stellar performance at the 2013 National Black Theatre Festival. Performance credits include A.D. Players: Best of Enemies (Bill). BWW Interview: Joe Palmore Blends Poetry and Theater in DISTURBING THE PEACE at 4th Wall Theatre Company

The fascinating aspects of the Houston theatre are almost too numerous to count. One of them is witnessing the amazing BIPOC and diverse range of people, places and theaters that inhabit Space City USA. One individual who is the personification of the best of Houston theater is Joseph “Joe P.” Palmore, who is mounting a poetic theatrical experience with the help of Houston staple, 4th Wall Theatre Company. We, as audience members, last saw Joe P., in the remount of 4th Wall’s of Stephen Adly Guirgis, Between Riverside and Crazy, and his performance then was stellar. Now, we get to witness Joe P.’s exquisite poetry along with his peers in Disturbing the Peace.

Stages Repertory Theatre Presents Three Upcoming Holiday Shows

Stages' holiday season offers comic alternatives to traditional seasonal shows with three productions including the regional premiere of the irreverent yet heartwarming The Ultimate Christmas Show (abridged), the world premiere of Panto Star Force, the latest in Stages' series of original Pantos for audiences of all ages, and the regional premiere of Who's Holiday!, an adult-themed How the Grinch Stole Christmas parody told entirely in Seussian rhyme. The Ultimate Christmas Show (abridged) and Who's Holiday! will be offered in true repertory style, playing in the same theatre at different performance times. Who's Holiday! will also include late-night performances at 9:30pm on select dates.
2018 Alley ALL NEW FESTIVAL Begins This Saturday

The Alley Theatre's Alley All New Festival, January 20-28, 2018, features six playwrights and more than 30 actors from the Alley and around the country who will be presenting new work through a series of readings and workshop performances. In addition to Alley Resident Company members, many artists have existing connections to the Alley and some are making their Alley debut. The start of the festival will celebrate the reopening of the Neuhaus Theatre.
