Cast Announced for Jonathan Spector's EUREKA DAY at Asolo Rep
Asolo Repertory Theatre will present the timely new comedy EUREKA DAY, written by New College of Florida alumnus Jonathan Spector. Directed by Bianca LaVerne Jones, EUREKA DAY begins previews on May 11, opens on May 13 and runs through June 4, in the intimate Cook Theatre, located in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts.

A REVOLUTION OF HER OWN!, the inspirational story of America's first female soldier Deborah Sampson, has been performed over 1,000 times in cities across the country, receiving accolades from journalists, actors, and historians alike and earning the honor as an Official Selection of the United Solo Theatre Festival in New York City. Now, Deborah Sampson travels to the Massachusetts Historical Society on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 from 5:30-7:00 pm to tell her incredible story (1154 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02215). ? In 1916, Woodrow Wilson was President and Europe was in the thick of World War I. The State of Montana elected the first woman representative in Congress and the U.S. National Park Service was created by an act of Congress. Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks, and Mae Marsh were some of the entertainment stars of the day, appearing on marquees across the country. In the midst of the silent film era, the Regent Theatre first opened its doors on April 24, 1916. A state of the art theater at the time, it was said "There is no city or town that can boast of a more beautiful motion picture theatre."
