Catch the Final Performances of BONIFACIO: ISANG SARSWELA, 2/7 to 3/16
Philantropic theater company Philippine Stagers Foundation (PSF) is approaching the last leg of its Philippine tour of bookwriter and lyricist Atty. Vincent Tañada and composer Pipo Cifra's more recent stage collaboration BONIFACIO: ISANG SARSWELA from today, February 7 until Sunday, March 16. The original Filipino musical premiered in July 2013 at Tanghalang Pasigueño, and has been on the road for more than six months, garnering a total of 424 performances so far, a feat similar to PSF's previous national touring productions of 'Cory ng EDSA' and 'Joe: A Filipino Rock'sical.'

Philippine Stagers Foundation or Stagers ('Cory ng Edsa,' 'Joe, The Filipino Rock'sical') celebrates the 150th birth date of Andres Bonifacio, one of the Philippines' greatest heroes, in 'Bonifacio: Isang Sarsuwela.' The new musical's world premiere is set Friday, July 19, at Tanghalang Pasigueño.

Tanada, Philippine Stagers Foundation's (PSF) artistic director and writer/director of the theater company's latest production, 'Bonifacio: Isang Sarswela,' tells entertainment journalist Robert Silverio that 'Bonifacio,' which is a tribute to Philippine hero Andres Bonifacio (1863-1897), is Tanada's darkest play so far.
JOE: Deconstructing Jose Rizal for Young Audiences
Philippine Stagers Foundation, the creator of original Filipino musicals 'Cory ng EDSA' and 'Enzo Santo,' comes up with another captivating production in 'Joe: The Filipino Rock'sical,' which opened last weekend at St. Cecilia's Auditorium, St. Scholastica's College, and will continue to run there on Saturday, July 21, and on Sunday, July 22, and at the Tanghalang Pasigueño on Sunday, July 29.
