Writer Jordan Allen-Dutton has just joined the upcoming Richard Simmons biopic, according to reports. Allen-Dutton's previous credits include the The Bomb-itty of Errors, a hip-hop add-rap-tation of Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, which became a smash Off-Broadway hit. The film will star Pauly Shore as the fitness guru, previously playing Simmons in a short film titled The Court Jester.

The new musical dot-comedy Nerds will open at Broadway's Longacre Theatre on April 21st, 2016 following preview performances which were previously announced as beginning March 31st, but it appears previews have been bumped by a day.
