Scott Guild to Embark on Tour for Book/Music Project 'Plastic'

On May 31 author and musician Scott Guild will release Plastic: The Album. The LP is the companion project to his wildly successful debut novel, Plastic which was released earlier this Spring to wide-spread critical acclaim. Together the album and book lead audiences into a surreal near-future world, peopled by plastic figurines and filled with the perils of climate crisis and a recent nuclear war. See the tour dates for the project here!
BWW Reviews: Witty NO HOMO Provides a Thoroughly Entertaining Tale of a Misconceived Bromance

In NO HOMO, playwright Brandon Baruch has written a very funny, smart and realistic script on the perceived misconceptions of Ash and Luke's relationship.  Their respective siblings and their friends think the two admittedly hetero guys really cohabitate as lovers and not just roommates. Jessica Hanna directs her talented cast at a fairly rapid pace keeping the laughs coming in between the many realistic but involving conflicts.
NO HOMO Receives First Full Run at Atwater Village Theatre, Beginning Tonight

The smash hit Fringe comedy NO HOMO by Brandon Baruch will receive its first full run with a new production at the Atwater Village Theatre, it was announced by Be Flat Productions and Praxis Limited. There will be two preview performances tonight, July 30 and Friday, July 31 at 8pm. Opening is set for Saturday, August 1 at 8pm and the strictly limited engagement will run through August 23.

It was announced today that a newly revised draft of Brandon Baruch's play NO HOMO will receive an Industry Reading at the Kirk Douglas Theatre on December 8th at 8pm. The reading will be directed by Jessica Hanna and produced by Max Oken.

Featuring music of glass harmonica virtuoso Jonny Rodgers, avant-bluegrass guitarist Jordan Tice (The Jordan Tice Trio), and the singular percussionist Mathias Kunzli, currently on tour with Regina Spektor. This will take place on Colonels' Row tonight, September 3rd.
