EMMA THE MUSICAL Comes to Chance Theater
Chance Theater has announced the highly anticipated return of Jane Austen’s Emma, The Musical, directed by Chance Theater Founding Resident Artist Casey Long. This enchanting adaptation by Paul Gordon brings Austen’s timeless tale of romance and matchmaking to life on the Bette Aitken theater arts Center’s Cripe Stage from November 29, 2024, through December 22, 2024.
The Blank Theatre Presents THE TRAGEDY OF JFK Streaming Now
The two-time Telly Award-winning film version of The Blank Theatre's production of The Tragedy of JFK (as told by Wm. Conceived, adapted, and directed by Daniel Henning, the play had its world premiere in Los Angeles on October 1, 2016.

Final Week to Expose Those Posing Strap Pirates
Back in the 50s and 60s when it was hardly kosher to even mention homosexuality, there existed a raft of pulp fiction novels along with popular physique magazines in the underground that kept gay men somewhat pleased and happy while they had to hide their sexual preferences from public view. Playwright Michael Van Duzer has created a campy, silly play that exhibits the man-to-man appeal of that time period entitled Posing Strap Pirates now onstage at the Eclectic Company Theatre through December 10.

Orange County's Chance Theater presents the West Coast Premiere of Richard Nelson's adaptation of THE SEAGULL by Anton Chekov, which continues through October 25. The production is directed by Tony Vezner, Assistant Professor of Theatre at Irvine's Concordia University and director of the Chance's 2008 critically-acclaimed production of Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol. As one of the great works in the history of the theatre, THE SEAGULL is one of the most prolifically-produced plays in the world. From the original, famed production at Konstantin Stanislavski's Moscow Art Theatre in 1898 to the recent landmark revival in New York's Central Park, THE SEAGULL has enchanted and engaged audiences from across the world for the last 100 years.
