Boca Raton Jewish Film Festival Previews the 2019 Lineup
The Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center's Phyllis & Harvey Sandler Center proudly presents the third annual Judy Levis Markhoff Boca Raton Jewish Film Festival (BRJFF), March 10-31, 2019. Now among the top 10 Jewish Film Festivals in the US, BRJFF features the best narrative, documentary and short films from around the world. The broad array of films explores the Jewish experience, culture, history, identity and topics relevant to Jewish life with a diverse collection of over 40 international and independent premiere films from over 19 countries. A limited number of Patron, Sponsor and Festival Passes that provide reserved seating are now on sale, with individual general admission tickets being available in mid-February. Screenings will conveniently be held during the first 2 weeks at the Cinemark Palace 20 Theaters in Boca Raton, and the final week at Movies of Delray on Hagen Ranch Road in Delray.

The Lion in Winter, produced by the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company, runs until 28 January 2012, Set and costume designs are by Stephen Brimson Lewis with music by Steven Edis, sound by Paul Groothuis and video design by Ian William Galloway.

Keira Knightley Film BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM Gets Musical Treatment; Aims for West End, Broadway
WENN News reports that the 2002 Keira Knightley film, Bend It Like Beckham, is currently being adapted for the stage, helmed by the film's director, Gurinder Chadha. The new musical has both West End and Broadway aspirations, according to the report. Says Chadha: 'The script is ready to go. It's going to be on both the West End and Broadway. We are currently deciding who is the right person to write the score, so it's at a really exciting stage.'

Robert Lindsay and Joanna Lumley will lead the cast in Trevor Nunn's production of James Goldman's The Lion in Winter. The Lion in Winter will run from 4 November - 28 January, with press night on 15 November 2011. The Lion in Winter is produced by the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company.
