Upon graduating from high school, Jonathan headed to Kansas City to pursue his college education. He has studied voice with Bob Marks (NYC) and Seth Riggs and Richard Fredricks (LA). Along with voice, dance and acting, he has studied piano, bassoon, trumpet and violin, winning numerous awards with his classical training. He also attended Interlochen Arts Camp in 2004. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Jewish studies. He recently published an article, "From Wellesley to Yale, 1969-1979: A Textual Analysis of Hillary Rodham's Early Written Rhetoric," in the journal Young Scholars in Writing. Jonathan spent 2010 and 2011 performing under the direction of Sam Viverito at The Shoji Tabuchi Show in Branson! He recently workshopped "Central Park: The Musical" and performed in the "Bound for Broadway" showcases and "Off the Books! A Cole Porter Unpublished Cabaret" at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre.
