Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Will Present the World Premiere of THE MINGHELLA PROJECT
The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in association with BODYTRAFFIC will present the world premiere of The Minghella Project, a heartfelt tribute to the late Oscar-winning writer/director Anthony Minghella (1954-2008), who wrote the texts for the four dance works that comprise the piece. The Wallis' first original dance production, The Minghella Project features its 2019/2020 Company-In-Residence, BODYTRAFFIC, on April 18, 19, 29 and 30, and May 1 and 2, 2020, in The Wallis' Bram Goldsmith Theater.

Schimmel Center Presents US Debut of Panta Rei Dance Theatre
Schimmel Center presents the United States debut of Oslo, Norway's Panta Rei Dance Theatre in Lullaby a thought provoking, contemporary metaphor of current international politics on Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. Set to a live score by Norwegian musician and composer Sverre Indris Joner with choreography by Anne Holck Ekenes, Pia Holden and H l ne Blackburn, Lullaby explores the dynamics of mediation between bickering parties and features three young, dynamic male dancers taking a journey through friendship and rivalry set against the backdrop of melodies inspired by lullabies.
Four Turtle Key Arts Companies to Bring Work to London This Autumn
In the world of performance, so often the producer is the hidden entity - turning the cogs but not necessarily noticed by the public. This autumn, Turtle Key Arts, has works by four of their exciting companies in London; circus from Joli Vyann and the outstanding award-winning Ockham's Razor, children's theatre from Slot Machine Theatre and a touching autobiographical show from Oddly Moving.

The inimitable Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Fiona Shaw (Medea, 2002 Next Wave; Happy Days, 2008 Spring Season; John Gabriel Borkman, 2011 Spring Season) and dancer Daniel Hay-Gordon perform one of the best loved poems in the English language, Samuel Taylor Coleridge's epic The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, under the acclaimed direction of Phyllida Lloyd. This fiery, pared-down adaption of the 215-year-old tale tells of consequences paid while marooned at sea and of man's wanderings throughout the world in search of meaning.
