Directed by Chongren Fan, the six-member cast features Leanne Cabrera, Ya Han Chang, Dinh James Doan,Jonathan Frye, Brian Kim, and Roger Yeh. Performances began November 25, 2018 at The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street) for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Opening Night was Saturday, December 1, 2018.

BWW Review: THE EMPEROR'S NIGHTINGALE at Adventure Stage-MTC A Charming Tale
Adventure Theatre-MTC has pulled out quite a few stops with their current production. Playwright Damon Chua has taken Hans Christian Anderson's famous tale and created a fascinating one-hour tour of 18th century China. This Emperor's Nightingale features everything from chubby, bamboo-chewing pandas to a truly eye-popping array of animated projections from award-winning scenic designer Hana Sooyeon Kim.
