Back by popular demand and with exciting new material! The Segal Centre for Performing Arts is proud to present A Century Songbook by the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre (DWYT). This uplifting show, celebrating 100 years of Jewish life in Montreal, was such a hit when it played a limited engagement of 5 performances in 2017 that the Segal Centre is bringing it back to the stage for 14 performances from June 16 to June 30, 2019.

The Segal Centre for Performing Arts is proud to present A Bintel Brief, a Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre (DWYT) production. One of the DWYT's most beloved plays, A Bintel Brief presented in Yiddish with English and French supertitles returns to the Segal Centre Studio for eight performances from October 14 to October 21, 2018.

Based on Dan Almagor's Israeli smash hit musical 'Ish Hasid Haya', Once There Was a Melody is a collection of vignettes, songs, and stories exploring the theme of the spiritual journey. The musical, described as sweet, funny, and touching, involves Jewish folk tales and melodies that have been passed down through the ages. As such, these timeless stories from the Old Country are now being brought to a new generation of Montreal audiences.

The Segal Centre for Performing Arts will conclude its record-breaking 2012-2013 theatre season with the world premiere Yiddish musical Tales From Odessa, based on the stories of Isaak Babel, book by Derek Goldman and music & lyrics by Josh 'Socalled' Dolgin. A Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre production directed by Audrey Finkelstein, Tales From Odessa runs in the Segal Theatre now through July 7th, 2013; in Yiddish with English and French supertitles.
