Goodnight, Texas have just dropped their latest single 'The Lightning and the Old Man Todd'. This track is from the roots-rock duo's forthcoming full-length LP Signals. Singer-songwriter Avi Vinocur shares some insight into this new single: 'I see this song as a continuation of the story of the 'old man' from our 2018 song ‘End of the Road,' exploring the character’s history and what led to his loneliness...' Nashville based, Oregon-born multi-platinum singer, songwriter, and producer Mat Kearney just released his new self-titled full-length album. Kearney counts the LP as one of his most personal yet and sees it as a reflection of his two-decade long career. Kearney will hit the road in June for the start of a massive US headline tour that continues in August and through November. All the confirmed tour dates can be found here. Both try to make a new language to express the Salem witch trials of 1692 because those events were too extraordinary for regular English or garden-variety ballet.

BLACK LEATHER BLUES was recorded in Northumberland, PA by Paul Smith who engineered and co-produced the album with Douglas. It was mixed by Brian Moncarz (Alice Cooper, Our Lady Peace, Phillip Sayce) and mastered by Brian Lucey (Black Keys, Royal Blood, Arctic Monkeys, Buddy Guy, Doyle Bramhall II, Green Day, Liam Gallagher, Elvis Costello.)

Park Theatre has announced Chartered Accountant Ibukun Alamutu and Come From Away producer Joe Smith as new trustees. They join Chair of the Board Anthony Clare and board members Kurt Barling, Hedda Beeby, Andrew Cleland-Bogle, Jonathan Edwards, Bharat Mehta, Rufus Olins, Victoria Phillips and Julia Tyrell.

Christina Holmes To Embark On First Tour In Two Years With Donavon Frankenreiter
Christina Holmes is making her long-anticipated return to the road this summer with Donavon Frankenreiter. The tour begins July 6th in Asbury Park and will make stops in New York, Nantucket, Cape May, and Amagansett before wrapping in Washington, DC on July 30th marking the first time she has performed in most places in over two years.

First Stage's Young Company to Stage MACBETH
Next up for First Stage’s Young Company, the Theater Academy’s award-winning training program for advanced high school actors, will be MACBETH, Shakespeare!s darkest tragedy, infamously known as the cursed Scottish play. The play will be performed in the newly renovated, theater-in-the round Goodman Mainstage Hall at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center. Directed by First Stage Young Company faculty member Marcella Kearns, with fight and intimacy direction by Christopher Elst, MACBETH is filled with ferocious battles, supernatural horrors, famously gorgeous poetry and some of the Bard's most vivid characters.

Park Theatre has announced Anthony Clare as the new Chair of the Board, taking over from Nigel Pantling who has been in the role for seven years. Anthony joins the board alongside existing board members Kurt Barling, Hedda Beeby, Andrew Cleland-Bogle, Jonathan Edwards, Bharat Mehta, Rufus Olins, Jo Parker, Victoria Phillips and Julia Tyrell.
