BIO

Jonathan D. Lovitz is an openly gay stage and screen actor, model, and speaker most famous for his seasons on LOGO tv’s “Setup Squad." A renowned host, performer, and a gay rights advocate, Jonathan travels the country speaking out for marriage rights, GLBT youth issues, and positive exposure for the community. He is also a passionate supporter of arts education and often teaches theatre/dance masterclasses at universities and high schools nationwide.


Jonathan graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida in 2006 and has been on an incredible journey ever since. Using his recognition as the star of LOGO tv's "Setup Squad" to spearhead events and activities that benefit the gay community nationwide, including a college speaking tour this fall, appearances at Pride ceremonies across America, and campaigns with groups including GLAAD, Campus Pride, and Freedom to Marry. Jonathan's lengthy career as a model and entertainer includes multiple Broadway national tours, regional theatre premiers throughout the US and Europe, as well as commercials and ads running worldwide.
