WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION Extends Until October 2023
An extension has been announced for Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution following the production's recent fifth anniversary. Audiences will now be able to watch the trial of Leonard Vole at the magnificent London County Hall until 8 October 2023.

National Theatre Presents COURAGE EVERYWHERE
The NT marks the 100th anniversary of the first women in the UK gaining the right to vote, with a series of rehearsed readings, talks and events, as well as a free exhibition in the Lyttelton Lounge. National Theatre Announces New Casting for Upcoming Season
New casting announced for the new National Theatre season. Full cast has been announced for Brian Friel's Translations including Colin Morgan and Ciaran Hinds, part of the Travelex season with thousands of tickets available at £15. Eric Kofi Abrefa and Thalissa Teixeira join Vanessa Kirby in the cast of Julie, part of the Travelex season with thousands of tickets available at £15. Sam Mendes directs The Lehman Trilogy, a co-production with Neal Street Productions, cast includes Adam Godley, Ben Miles and Simon Russell Beale. Full casting is announced for the award winning An Octoroon by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, transferring to the National Theatre in a co-production with the Orange Tree Theatre. The NT will tour to 30 venues in 27 towns and cities across the UK and Ireland, for a total of 83 playing weeks over the next year. Rufus Norris' Macbeth to tour to 18 venues across the UK and Ireland from autumn 2018. War Horse returns to the National Theatre marking the centenary of Armistice Day.
THE AUDIENCE Starring Helen Mirren Ends West End Run this Weekend
The record breaking, sell-out production of Peter Morgan's multi Olivier award-winning The Audience, directed by Stephen Daldry, concludes its run at the Gielgud Theatre on 15 June 2013. Tomorrow, Thursday 13 June 2013, there will be an opportunity to watch the production as part of NT live - the National Theatre's ground-breaking project to broadcast the best of British Theatre live from the stage to cinemas across the UK and around the world. An extraordinary number of screenings have now been scheduled due to immense demand.

Robert Hardy Withdraws from THE AUDIENCE
The producers of The Audience today announced Robert Hardy's decision to withdraw from the production. Hardy, 87, recently suffered a fall and cracked some ribs, yet continued to perform at all of the preview performances last week. Over the weekend he has decided that a schedule of eight performances a week over a long run is not sustainable and he has therefore reluctantly decided to stand down. The Producers would like to thank Robert Hardy for his extraordinary contribution to the production and they wish him a speedy recovery.
