Slow Burn Theatre Company to Stage HEAD OVER HEELS
Slow Burn Theatre Company and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts invite audiences to Head Over Heels, the bold new musical comedy from the visionaries that rocked Broadway with Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Avenue Q and Spring Awakening, from June 10-26, 2022. The musical is presented by American National Bank and sponsored by the Josephine S. Leiser Foundation and Funding Arts Broward, Inc. (FAB!). Set to the music of the iconic 1980’s all-female rock band The Go-Go’s and featuring a book by Jeff Whitty and adaptation by James Magruder, this laugh-out-loud love story is directed by Patrick Fitzwater.

SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM Comes to Arsht Center This Month
Zoetic Stage and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County will present SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM, a riveting celebration of the work of legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim. Playing from March 17 through April 10 in the Arsht Center's intimate Carnival Studio Theater, SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM is a perfect introduction to the work of a contemporary master and a must for die-hard fans.
BWW Review: Raise Your Voice for Theatre Under the Stars' Lively & Joyful SISTER ACT
Based on the hit-film, Sister Act is a feel-good musical comedy that is bringing joy, song and laughter to the people of Houston. Sister Act tells the story of a nightclub singer (Deloris) who is forced to take refuge from the mob in a convent. The story brings brings audiences joy and laughter as Deloris turns the convent choir into a soulful chorus complete with a Motown repertoire. Patrons of Theatre Under the Stars are captivated as we watch Deloris maneuver through the the sudden celebrity of the choir jeopardizing her identity.
Broadway Stars Join SING FOR HOPE to Support David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation, 10/5
SING FOR HOPE, an all-star concert to raise money for David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation, presented by the Foundation and Cara Samantha, is set for Sunday, October 5th 2014 from 2PM to 6PM at Toshi's Living Room at The Flat Iron Hotel, 1411 Broadway, New York, NY 10001 (at 26th Street). Performers from BROADWAY, AMERICAN IDOL and more will sing to support the cause.

3-D Theatricals' final show of the 2012 season is the Tony Award-winning musical HAIRSPRAY, featuring choreography by Dana Solimando, musical direction by Allen Everman, and directed by 3-D Theatricals Executive Producer and Artistic Director T.J. Dawson. HAIRSPRAY opened on Saturday, October 13 and performed through Sunday, October 28 at the historic Plummer Auditorium, 201 E. Chapman Ave. in Fullerton. HAIRSPRAY then traveled across town to perform at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, 1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd., for three performances only, ending today, November 4.
