Raleigh, NC-based quartet Chatham County Line's eighth studio album, Sharing The Covers is out today on Yep Roc Records. Directed by Gabriel Wilson and animated by Barrett Phillips, today the band unveils the official video for “I Think I'm In Love” (watch/share).
Toronto Dance Theatre Announces 2017-18 Season and 50th Anniversary
Toronto Dance Theatre (TDT) announces the details of its 2017-2018 season, celebrating 50 years of performance that have fundamentally changed the face of Canadian dance. Under the visionary direction of Christopher House, recently named to the Order of Canada, the season kicks off on September 21 with a program of works by TDT founders Patricia Beatty, David Earle and Peter Randazzo presented in partnership with Toronto Heritage Dance. The company then launches into international and national tours, including its first-ever visit to Colombia and a coast-to-coast tour of Western, Eastern and Northern Canada. In the early spring, TDT returns to the Fleck Dance Theatre with an exhilarating program of premieres created in response to Christopher House's masterwork Glass Houses (1983).
EgoPo Classic Theater Announces DELIRIUM
When a modern Irish playwright meets a Russian classic - all hell breaks loose. On October 28, EgoPo presents the Philadelphia premiere of Theatre O and Enda Walsh's raucous revisioning of The Brothers Karamazov. Through an explosion of light, sound and puppetry, this theatrical outburst of toxic masculinity will grab audiences by the throat. Three brothers are locked in an eternal family struggle with their abusive patriarch culminating in an epic theological battle. Delirium previews October 26-27 and opens Today, October 28. The show runs three weeks, closing on Sunday, November 13. Tickets start at $25. Performances are at the Latvian Society Theater on 7th and Spring Garden.

Inis Nua Theatre to Stage American Premiere of THE RADICALISATION OF BRADLEY MANNING
Inis Nua Theatre Company moves to The Proscenium Theatre at its new home The Drake (at 203 South Hicks Street) to present The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning by Tim Price. The American premiere of this Welsh play revives some not-so-long-ago American history to tell the story of the young Army intelligence analyst who leaked the largest amount of classified documents in U.S. history.
PlayPenn to Present First Reading of New Series at The Drake, 1/25
PlayPenn, Philadelphia's nationally recognized professional new play development organization, presents the first event in a new play reading series to be held at The Drake. Located at 1512 Spruce Street, the newly renovated Drake houses two theatres and will be home to PlayPenn alongside resident partners Azuka Theatre, InterAct Theatre Company, Inis Nua Theatre Company, and Simpatico Theatre Project. The reading series Philly Plays @ The Drake, will involve fourteen local playwrights, fourteen local directors, and over 80 local actors in a communal celebration of the vibrant new play scene from January through June, 2016.
