The LA Phil's Deck the Hall concerts feature performances by an eclectic array of artists who bring the joy of the holiday season to concert-goers during this special time of year. Featured holiday concerts at Walt Disney Concert Hall are: the rich harmonies of Chanticleer (Dec 17); five-time Grammy®-winning jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves (Dec 20); the family-friendly fun of the annual Holiday Sing-Along (Dec 21); the heartwarming White Christmas Sing-Along (Dec 22); and twelve-time Grammy®-winning gospel singer CeCe Winans (Dec 23). Young Artists Symphony Orchestra (YASO), Los Angeles's newest orchestra led by Artistic Director Alexander Treger, a noted conductor, music educator and former Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, launches its inaugural season with a free celebratory concert featuring Mahler's seminal Symphony No. 2 in C minor, "Resurrection," hailed as "one of the musical touchstones of our time" (The New York Times), on Sunday, October 11, 2015, 7 pm, at UCLA's Royce Hall, the orchestra's home venue. Featured guest artists include Amanda Achen, soprano, Nike St. Clair, mezzo-soprano, and the Angeles Chorale, under the direction of Artistic Director John Sutton. The recently established pre-professional training orchestra champions, mentors and inspires the next generation of outstanding young musicians for careers in classical music.

Due to a developing controversy surrounding GRAFFITO, the remaining screenings at Oracle theatre have been cancelled indefinitely. The Graffito team says, 'Our intention with this film was to stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters fighting the good fight, not to shame or embarrass. We support, unconditionally, those that are passionate about changing our world and are dedicated to nonviolent tactics that serve to unite. Literally hundreds of beautiful artists and citizens have poured their hearts into this film. Now, with our future uncertain, we need your support now more than ever.'

As he wages a war of aesthetics against the capitalists, unexpected romance threatens to ruin the film. Shot primarily in the Logan Square, Avondale and Bucktown areas with local actors, crew and many iconic Chicago locations, GRAFFITO presents contemporary issues surrounding living and working as a radical artist in Chicago. The film was shot over the last 6 months and seeks to showcase a cross section of the vital and vibrant Chicago artistic community.
