Lakewood Playhouse Returns to the Stage With BROADWAY BOUND
The LAKEWOOD PLAYHOUSE, re-opened to public performances, opens its 83rd Season main stage with the third installment of Neil Simon's semi-autobiographical trilogy, Broadway Bound. Lakewood Playhouse previously produced the first two installments, Brighton Beach Memoirs in its 80th season, and Biloxi Blues in season 81.

During the event, IRAP presented both Masooma Hussaini and Sourya Saleh, First Female Afghan Pilots & Former IRAP Clients, with the Portrait of Courage Award and Carl Reisner, Partner, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, with the Visionary Award.

New Harrison David Rivers Play Closes Playwrights' Center Season
The 2017-18 Ruth Easton New Play Series at the Playwrights' Center closes April 9 and 10 with Core Writer Harrison David Rivers' new play 'the bandaged place.' The readings begin at 7 p.m. at the Playwrights' Center, located at 2301 E. Franklin Avenue in Minneapolis. They are free, but reservations are recommended and can be made at pwcenter.org.
