Two Time Academy Award Winner Barbara Kopple's A MURDER IN MANSFIELD To Premiere On Investigation Discovery

Two-time Oscar®-winning director Barbara Kopple has partnered with America's leading true-crime network, Investigation Discovery (ID) to explore the legacy of the notorious 1989 murder of Noreen Boyle in Mansfield, Ohio in the new documentary, A MURDER IN MANSFIELD. The film chronicles Noreen's son Collier's journey for answers and peace in the aftermath of his mother's death nearly three decades ago. A MURDER IN MANSFIELD will have its national television debut exclusively on Investigation Discovery on November 17, 2018 at 9 pm.
Royal Opera House's LA BOHEME To Screen In US Cinemas Tomorrow

The Royal Opera House's 2017/2018 Cinema Series continues with director Richard Jones' acclaimed new production of Puccini's La boh me. From gang member, political muscle, and prizefighter to New York State Senator, United States Congressman, and industry leader of the sport of kings—John Morrissey (1831–1878) was all of these and more. When the Morrissey family arrived in America in 1831, there were not many open doors for Irish immigrants, but he did not let his bloodline stop him. He was the kind of man who would challenge the infamous William Poole, better known as “Bill the Butcher,” just to make a name for himself. Morrissey knew that when there was an opportunity, he had to take it. This bravado led to more than one brush with death, but also to wealth and prestige.
