Leonard Bernstein's masterpiece, Candide, is back in Vienna for a strictly limited run. Based on Voltaire's 18th-century novel, Bernstein created a so-called comic operetta, or as some might say, a musical in an old-fashioned way. You may call it whatever you want. At the end of the evening, it is a beautifully crafted piece of art.

Grammy-nominated singer Halsey has joined the Hollywood Bowl's production of Nightmare Before Christmas, playing the role of Sally for two nights before handing it off to original voice actress Catherine O'Hara for the third. The concert will also feature Fred Armisen as Nightmare, Ken Page as Oogie Boogie, and Danny Elfman as Jack Skellington.

Theatre Works, The Confession of Henry Jekyll, M.D., David Rambo’s adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic horror novel, “Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” playing April 14th through April 16th.
