"Pirandello 150," a one-week festival celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of the great Sicilian playwright Luigi Pirandello, will run at Film Forum from Today, January 13 through Thursday, January 19. The series is part of 2017's city-wide "Pirandello 150" celebration.

Featuring Brian Murray, Laura Esterman, Lynn Cohen, Reg Rogers, Angela Pietropinto, Zoe Anastassiou, Sam Tsoutsouvas, Joel Bernstein and Kate Grimes, the reading is adapted and directed by John Martello. It will take place next Monday, October 17th at 7:30 p.m. at the Cherry Lane Theatre.

For the 5th time in its history, The PLAYERS will commemorate each of the new, 14 inductees with a fine-art portrait that will become part of THE PLAYERS' permanent collection. The unveiling is at a special fundraising dinner at the landmarked Booth mansion at 16 Gramercy Park South, (East 20th off Park Ave.) New York City.

Players Foundation Extends 'The Half' Exhibit Through 6/29

THE PLAYERS FOUNDATION FOR THEATER EDUCATION Executive Director John Martello announced the two-week extension of the The Half: Photographs of Actors Preparing for the State, an exhibition of celebrity photographs of actors in their dressing rooms taken by Simon Annand in the 30 minutes before curtain up, known as the half. The exhibition will now run until June 29th, 2012 at THE PLAYERS (16 Gramercy Park South, New York) and is accompanied by Annand's book The Half.
