The Assembly to Host Conversation Series in Conjunction with HOME/SICK

New York City theater collective The Assembly will present a curated conversation series to accompany the West Coast premiere of HOME/SICK, a theatrical re-imagining of the history of the Weather Underground. Select performances of The New York Times 'Critic's Pick' production, which is set for a limited, four-week engagement in a co-production with West L.A.'s Odyssey Theatre from June 11 through July 3, will be followed by discussions with former Weathermen, historians, activists and artists engaged with today's political struggles.

The production will be presented on the theater's Main Stage located at 2102 East First Street (at St. Louis Street), Boyle Heights, CA 90033 todays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and on Sundays at 5:00 p.m., tonight, May 8 (Press Opening Night) - June 7, 2015.

The Joyce Theater Adds Performances of Wendy Whelan in RESTLESS CREATURE

The Joyce Theater has announced an added performance to the NYC premiere engagement of Wendy Whelan's acclaimed Restless Creature, presented by The Joyce – in its intimate Chelsea home – from May 26-31. There is no way to know exactly what will happen this November when the daring Dutch theater ensemble Wunderbaum premieres a new theatrical event developed through collaborative conversations with Los Angeles artists during a three-week REDCAT residency. Following the residency, Wunderbaum's Looking for Paul will receive its world premiere at REDCAT with performances beginning on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 and running through Saturday, November 20, 2010.
