CMA Selects Inaugural Participants For Rob Potts International Exchange Program
The Country Music Association has selected Julie Bowser (United States) and Megan Hopkins (Australia) as its inaugural participants of the Rob Potts International Exchange Program for individuals pursuing a career in the Country Music industry. Bowser and Hopkins will participate in the four-week industry-focused program, which honors the memory of late Australian promoter Rob Potts.
Country Music Association Hosts Eighth Annual CMA Touring Awards
The Country Music Association presented industry honors at the Eighth Annual CMA Touring Awards Tuesday, Jan. 21 at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, celebrating Country Music's most respected professionals from the 2019 touring season. Singer, songwriter, producer and 2017 CMA New Artist of the Year Jon Pardi hosted the evening. He shared humorous, supportive anecdotes throughout the program, recognizing his own road crew as well as this year's nominees. The event awarded 16 industry professionals, including Tony Conway, CEO of Conway Entertainment Group, who was honored with the CMA Touring Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Nashville Association of Talent Directors' (NATD) 8th Annual Honors Gala honored some of the best in their respective fields for their accomplishments and services to the Nashville entertainment industry: Country Music Hall of Fame member and Grand Ole Opry star Bill Anderson, legendary CAA agent Stan Barnett, award-winning Christian band MercyMe, Variety Attractions' George Moffett, President & CEO of TPAC Kathleen O'Brien, legendary APA agent Ray Shelide. Serving as emcees for this highly-anticipated annual event were WKRN's Stephanie Langston and The Tennessean's Brad Schmitt.
