Review: SWEENEY TODD Strikes All the Right Notes at the Marroney Theatre
I've just highlighted a long list deserving of recognition, if for no other reason than to remind audiences of the invisible force that fuels this pre-eminent theatre department. I'm aware of the unresolved public trauma caused by the university's decision to discontinue the program. Intentional or not, SWEENEY is the apt choice; the metaphor of slitting one's throat resonates with an aggrieved following, for that's what it must feel like to lose a vital artistic resource. And that, my good friends, is the real tragedy.

BBC America Expands Record-Breaking Professional Darts Coverage
BBC AMERICA today announced the expansion of its highly successful broadcast and streaming of Professional Darts, adding the 2018/2019 World Darts Championship from London's sold-out Alexandra Palace from December 13 to January 1. The best matches of the week will air Sunday mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm ET. BBCA will stream a record 111 hours live on BBC America.com. The Final will air in primetime on BBC AMERICA on Tuesday, January 1 at 9:30pm ET following the Doctor Who New Year's Day special.

Andrea Rosen Gallery is very pleased to announce that Cory Nomura, one of the gallery's directors, is moving to Gallery 2 to continue to broaden the significance of its exhibition programming, which has been an essential part of the gallery's history since its inception in 1999. In 2012, Gallery 2 grew into an autonomous exhibition space at 544 West 24th Street. It remains dedicated to presenting content-driven, experimental and historical one-time exhibitions. In his new role, Nomura will also provide Gallery 2 with an on-going directorial presence.
